PAR: 4 | HCP: 7
With water and bunkers left, and thick vegetation to the right; select a club that will keep you in the fairway on this short par 4. A long iron or fairway wood is long enough to leave you a short iron into the green. Center of the green is a good play to have a makeable birdie putt on this undulated putting surface.

Accuracy is key on this difficult par 4. Off the tee you have water on the right and out of bounds on the left. Play to the left side of the fairway to give you the best approach into the green. The water you faced off the tee inserts itself in front of the green. The farther left in the fairway you lie, the less water you have to carry on your second shot. Pay attention to the pin location as there is a ridge that runs in the center of the green.

A lengthy hole with head wind. With water right and a large bunker left, another accurate drive is key. Mounds border the back and right side of the green and the deepest bunker at Thistle borders the left side of the green. If you avoid these the test is not over. The green has two tiers and slopes from back to front. Proper club selection is a must on this approach shot.

One of the more memorable holes, this par three will test your nerves. A peninsula green with water left, short, and right; proper club selection is dire. Two large bunkers lie short of the green, making an up and down difficult to achieve. Center of the green is a must.

A difficult yet very fun par 5. Environmental area left and waste bunkers right await you off the tee. Finding the fairway is a must to give you the best score possible on this hole. Your lay-up shot is not a given either. A large bunker and tree await you in the landing area. Your third shot also needs to be carefully placed, bunkers left and a two tiered green are anything but easy.

What looks to be a straight forward par 4 is anything but. The waste bunker from hole 5 is on your right and a trio of small bunkers lie on your right. The right side of the fairway gives you the best angle of approach. Careful to avoid the two bunkers guarding the green; and the ridge that runs through the center. Careful attention to the pin location here is a must.

A very difficult hole to start your journey in. A peninsula fairway with water right, long, and left. If you do hit it left off the tee, hope you find the deep bunker, instead of the drink. A long iron or fairway wood off the tee is sufficient on this short par 4. You must cross the water on your approach to a severely sloped two tiered green. Pay attention to pin location.

The straightest hole at Thistle is still very difficult. A lengthy par 5 to finish the nine. Thick vegetation to the left and water on the right run the entire length of the hole. Accuracy is of upmost importance. A deep green requires proper distance control on your approach to give yourself the best birdie chance.
